Cost-Efficient Formula to produce Hand Sanitisers

Following the advice on the importance of hand hygiene to combat the coronavirus COVID-19 originated from Wuhan, hand sanitisers have been wiped off the shelves in the usual pharmacies and supermarkets in Singapore. With this shortage of hand sanitisers in the market, many businesses have been ramping up their purchases on active ingredients in hand sanitisers to formulate their own sanitisers and mass producing them! Formulation of our hand sanitiser:

Procedures:

1. Add CELQUAT SC-230M polymer to the deionized water and half of the denatured alcohol. Mix, using moderate agitation, until solution thickens.
2. Add the remaining amount of denatured alcohol and increase the level of agitation to high. Mix until homogeneous.
3. Pre-mix glycerin and fragrance. Add to the batch and mix until homogeneous.
