MERGAL K6N is an in-can preservative on the basis of an amide adduct and isothiazolinones.

MERGAL K6N is effective in inhibiting growth of bacteria, yeast and moulds in water-based polymer emulsions, paints, adhesives,thickeners, metal working fluids, textile auxiliaries, inks, acrylic stucco systems,pigment pastes, and many household,institutional and industrial formulations.The product is also used in the manufacture of sanitising solutions for the treatment of surfaces prior to painting.
